My Interview Experience in DXC Technology
Hello guys its been a month and I didn’t post any blog because I had exams so I couldn’t write the blog. I will try to post the blog every week here after. So today I will talk one of my best interview experience at one of best MNC company is DXC Technology. Lets Go!!
Before I talk about my interview experience if you have not seen my before post on My Interview Experience in Atos Syntel please look into it and try to give a like to the post.
I got the interview call through cocubes which is an online assessment and hiring platform. So they will conduct an test which will test your aptitude, logical reasoning, coding, English, Technical and concepts of related subjects. You can write this exam anytime and anywhere for more details you can go to this link. You have to pay Rs.1100–1300 depends which year you are studying and write the assessment. If you get more than score of 500 out of 800 to get a decent companies.
So my score was 511 which was a decent score and my college has provided this test as a compulsory for everyone to write the test. Once the test over you will get your score via your registered email address after 15–20 days and you will also get your performance report which will tell you where you are strong and weak.
At January 22, 2020 I got the interview call in cocubes. They asked me to bring my 10th, 12th, semester marksheet, ID proof and the interview call letter.
At January 29, 2020 I went to St.Joseph Engineering College at 8 AM because they said to be at 9 AM sharp. So it is better to be early to the time they mention at the call letter. They asked me to go and sit at the auditorium where so many people were sitting wearing formals with a big file.
At 10:30 AM all the employees of DXC arrived at the auditorium and giving the presentation of the company. They took the presentation for 15 minutes and they created a batch of 15 people for the round 1. There were nearly 1000 people attending the interview with me.
Round 1: At 11 AM they called one by one batch to another room where the group discussion takes place. So we were took to a room there were four employees at four corners of the room in front of them there were 15 chairs. So we all sat and waiting for him to finish writing all our names in the paper. He gave an topic “Technology is helpful for the younger generation or older generation”. So I started the point immediately after he finished saying the topic and I given nearly 5–6 points. During group discussion if you start the discussion you will get extra points. The group discussion lasts for half an hour and he asked us to wait outside to get the results.
Then after 10 minutes they called the selected names and asked the selected people to go to ground floor to attend the interview.
Round 2: At 12:30 PM I came down to attend the interview there were nearly hundreds of people are waiting after selecting from the group discussion. There were 30 interview cabins every 10 minutes an employee comes outside the cabin and calls a name to start the interview. I was waiting nearly for an hour then an employee called me and introduced himself and he asked “Tell me about yourself” Listed down the questions he interviewed me.

Have you worked in Linux Platform?
Which is a best platform for you and why?
Why nowadays everyone are started using cloud computing?
Which type of cloud have you worked with?
Have you worked with databases?
Describe the security threats on cloud?
If you are the admin of a cloud how will you maintain the record?
I have mostly given answers for all the questions and the interviewer was satisfied and this is the only interview where the interviewer did not asked me to write code. I was really happy for that and the interview last for 25 minutes and he said all the best.
Round 3: I was really scared whether we will be selected for the HR interview I waited nearly half an hour and one sir called me to wait here to attend the HR interview. I was really happy that I got selected. At 2:05 PM the interviewer called me for the interview. Listed down the questions asked by the HR.

The Interview went for 10 minutes and the interviewer asked me to call another boy for the interview and I left the hall and went back home.
After 7 days I got the offer letter I was really happy to get the offer letter. But unfortunately I didn’t accept it because right now I am doing masters in computer science.
